We were contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for an additional woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to find out exactly where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband initial left he was extremely sad and apologetic as he felt that right after 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t feel he loved her any far more. He said he needed time apart and did not wish to tell her where he was going. He took a significant quantity of money out of their joint bank account which he stated he needed to set himself up in a new place to live.
While waiting for her husband to return their relationship began to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid much less money into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was extremely strange behaviour for him and totally out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he may have yet another woman as a comparable thing had happened to her. She also urged our client to give us a call to see if we could help as we had helped her in the past.
We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and found the address he was living at and that there was an additional woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name as well as the woman he was living with. They had bought the property together just right after he had left our client.
We had been able to offer our client with all the evidence she needed to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she stated that after the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had probably been getting an affair with this woman for many years. She is now ready to move on with her new life.
